No insulation vacuum bags on the market are HEPA rated and should not be used for the removal of asbestos insulation.
Whether you're a seasoned insulation contractor or a homeowner tackling an attic cleanout for the first time, the right vacuum bags make all the difference in how smoothly your insulation removal project goes. RAM Heavy Duty Insulation Vacuum Bags are designed to meet the everyday demands of professional insulation removal — delivering consistent, reliable performance across job after job.
These bags are purpose-matched to commercial insulation removal vacuums, the high-powered machines used to extract blown-in insulation, old fiberglass batts, and cellulose insulation from attics, crawl spaces, and wall cavities. Their durable construction handles the mix of insulation debris, nails, staples, and sharp material fragments that pass through the vacuum stream without the blowouts and failures that plague generic contractor bags.
For insulation contractors managing multiple crews and job sites, RAM Heavy Duty bags offer the combination of reliability, capacity, and compatibility that keeps operations running efficiently. Fewer bag failures mean less cleanup, less wasted time, and better profitability on every insulation removal job.
For homeowners renting insulation removal vacuum equipment for a DIY attic cleanout or blown-in insulation removal project, RAM Heavy Duty bags provide the peace of mind that comes from using a bag specifically engineered for insulation removal — not a repurposed general-purpose bag that may fail under the demands of insulation vacuuming.
Energy efficiency contractors, weatherization professionals, and home performance auditors who regularly specify insulation removal as part of an air sealing or re-insulation scope will find RAM Heavy Duty bags an indispensable part of their standard toolkit.

I love the small openning and well stiched seam
Very quality product. It holds dust never than the poly woven white bags

Better than other bags
Stronger that either of the white bags we used. This company's white bag was better than another companies white bag. Get more than you think you will need. Drape hose over a ladder to fill bag upright and you will get more in the bag because of compression.

Good Quality
Great quality worked very well for reno project. Looked like the grinch with them loaded in the truck on the way to the transfer station! But great product!

These work great
We use these to remove blown in insulation from old houses. Instead of renting a machine for $200, we buy a woodworking dust collection machine from Harbor Freight or Home Depot, with a slight mod, it's the same as the rental insulation removal machines. We put the bag outside, run a long dust extractor hose to the bag (which is in the dumpster) and when it's full and heavy, the crew doesn't have to do anything other than close the bag and get another. In my experience, the bags are full by volume at about 150 lb. of insulation, never have gotten close to the 400 lb. rating in the listing, that must be some seriously dense insulation.

Orgre-rrific
If you ever wanted Shrek to show up and suck up all the insulation in your attic, here's your chance. These bags are great, strong, big, and very very green. They would even hold Michael Eisner.

Great Purchase
These are great bags. They hold a heck of a lot of insulation but get very heavy when full. This is not a surprise since they are huge! Worked out really well. Not super dusty. The cat thought it was a great bed until it was over half full. Imagine that.

Filtered Well
Work great no dust or anything come out they do rip easily not to durable so be carefully pulling them or picking them up after full.
