"I started RAM because I was tired of buying bags that tore on the job. Contractors don't have time for that. I built something I'd actually trust."
Chris Beck started RAM Insulation Vacuum Bags in 2014 after years of working insulation removal jobs and running into the same problem every time: the bags weren't up to the task. Thin material, weak seams, no real filtration — and always at the worst possible moment on a hot job site.
So Chris built his own solution. He sourced heavy-duty non-woven polypropylene, worked out a five-seam construction strong enough for rock wool and wet insulation, and designed an easy-fill spout that actually kept dust down. Then he started selling them out of Roswell, Georgia, one contractor at a time.
More than a decade later, RAM is still family-owned, still ships same-day, and Chris still answers the phone. The bags haven't changed much — because they were right from the start.
